Clinical Study (Ayuric® 1 )
Ayuric® is a standardized extract of Terminalia bellirica, clinically studied for its role in supporting healthy uric acid metabolism.
A total of 110 participants with hyperuricemia were randomized into five groups: T. chebula 500mg BID, T. bellirica 250mg BID, T. bellirica 500mg BID (Ayuric®), placebo BID, and febuxostat 40mg daily. The study lasted 24 weeks with uric acid levels measured at multiple points.
In the 24-week study, T. bellirica (especially at 500mg) significantly reduced serum uric acid levels in a dose-dependent manner, nearly twice as effective as the lower dose and T. chebula. Effects appeared as early as 4 weeks. While febuxostat was most effective overall, T. bellirica (Ayuric®) stood out as a potent, well-tolerated natural option.
